Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance to support insurance claim investigations. You will work in the field with minimal supervision, documenting observations and coordinating with other agencies as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, training completion, a year of investigative experience, and the ability to work irregular hours. A valid driver's license and equipment handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience, preferably in investigations/related field.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work independently and handle stress professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
