Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to confirm activities for insurance claim administration. The role involves traveling daily to cases in the field with auto and travel allowances, and no fixed office location.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of investigative experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable work experience, preferably in investigations or protective service field.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to type reports in MS Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work in a very independent environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across multiple coverage types.
• Use surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document observations, activities and relevant information clearly.
• Coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical standards in surveillance operations.
