Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Manager in Abilene, TX to oversee field support groups, manage warehouse/yard operations, and ensure efficient material handling for projects nationwide.

You will lead safety adherence, streamline communications, and coordinate with procurement and logistics. The role requires strong warehouse experience, 5+ years in construction support operations, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work environment by following Rosendin safety regulations.
• Provide oversight and coordination to field support groups and warehouse/yard operations.
• Ensure proper chain of custody for materials entering warehouse.
• Manage material transfer from storage to production team and optimize warehouse processes.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control; oversee inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to replace damaged materials; ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Support fleet services and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Communicate effectively between field support units and field teams.

We'd love to have you as a shareholder! ## **YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:**The Field Support Manager is responsible for providing oversight, coordination, and direction to the different field support groups and managing day-to-day operations and appearance of warehouse and yard locations in support of our regional goals.## **WHAT YOU’LL DO:*** Maintain safe work environment through adherence to Rosendin safety regulations and standards* Develop and implement lines of communication and tracking between field management ensuring that the Company is providing first class quality and service to our internal and external customers* Confirm that a chain of custody is created for all material entering our warehouse* Ensure material is transferred efficiently and accurately from storage to our production team* Manage and refine warehouse process to increase productivity and reduce waste* Manage and assist with cycle counts and inventory control* Manage receivers handling incoming and outgoing deliveries* Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when necessary* Coordinate with procurement and logistics staff to replace material damaged during transportation* Ensure the safe operation of Rosendin equipment and vehicles* Assist fleet services to prepare vehicles for sale* Work with a team to maintain a clean and tidy work area to ensure a safe working environment* Performing field support duties and tasks as assigned by senior leadership* Provide and maintain an effective line of communication between all field support units.* Ensure the facility is always fully operational and work with the warehouse manager to provide facility maintenance and repairs as needed.* Ensure that all company safety policies are adhered to by all field support units.* Ensure that all field support units provide and maintain an effective coordinated calendar for all logistic activities to and from the field.* Coordinate all interactions between field support units and field teams.* The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.## ## **WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:*** Proficient understanding of the requirements of material handling in a warehouse setting* Ability to operate warehouse* Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)* Proficient in using a tablet to enter data* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary* Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude* Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position* Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others## **WHAT YOU BRING TO US*** High school diploma or equivalent* Associate degree preferred* Minimum 5 years in construction support operation and knowledge of construction equipment and materials* Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience## **TRAVEL:*** As needed## **WORKING CONDITIONS:*** General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
