Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Driver to safely transport equipment to project locations in Arizona.

You will ensure up-to-date vehicle maintenance, complete inspections, and maintain accurate load records while adhering to DOT and Rosendin safety policies. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• 3 years verifiable experience operating a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with mobile devices for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and timely inspections.
• Secure loads per safety regulations.
• Record keeping of deliveries and shipments.
• Coordinate with project locations and drivers.

We'd love to have you as a shareholder! ## **YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:**The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting equipment to and from our project locations.## **WHAT YOU’LL DO:*** Always prioritize safety* Transporting material and equipment to and from job sites Ensure up to date maintenance on vehicles Maintain an accurate record of vehicle inspections with adherence to DOT standards* Ensure the safe operation of vehicles* Operate vehicle in accordance with REI safety polices, OSHA and DOT requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws and regulation* Secure loads on vehicles in compliance with Rosendin and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration* Outbound functions include selecting checking, packing, and shipping orders* Inbound functions include receiving, placement and put away of product* Must be familiar with the job location and surrounding areas* Maintain a clean driving record* The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above and other duties may be assigned.## **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:*** Ability to read maps and follow directions* Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of material* Must be able to physically meet DOT health requirements* Must be able to obtain a valid Class A CDL* Excellent customer service skills* Proficient in using a mobile device* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary* Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude* Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position* Ability to speak, read and write in English* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others## **WHAT YOU BRING TO US:*** High school diploma or equivalent* Must have a clean driving record* Must have 3 years of verifiable experience operating a vehicle over 10,000lbs## **WORKING CONDITIONS:*** General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
