Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Support Engineer for our Pulp and Water division in New York/New Jersey. The primary responsibilities include routine testing and monitoring at customer sites, data entry, and contributing to service reports, with hands-on work on chemical feed systems and equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong problem-solving and relationship management, and the ability to drive projects on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical problems.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; proficient with Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record; ability to pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites, enter data, and assist in service report preparation.
• Interface with customers to understand and resolve issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manage product inventory at customer sites, including deliveries to process units and offloading to tanks.
• Adjust chemical feed levels to optimize performance; deliver chemicals and collect trial data at the customer site.
• Alert site management to issues/opportunities and troubleshoot as needed.
• Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment; work with site teams to ensure program performance.
