Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead field crews in Ohio. You will drive safety, quality, training, and customer engagement while supporting Area and General Managers on initiatives.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and field presence to ensure incidents are minimized and client satisfaction upheld. The position mainly spends time in the field (80%) with some office work (20%), and requires a valid driver's license and ability to work across multiple weather

Qualifications

• 4-year degree is a plus but not required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of supervisor experience and building teams with 20+ members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships with your team
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership/supervision for 30+ field crews
• Support Area Manager and General Manager in initiatives
• Collaborate with Area Staff for continuous improvement
• Maintain Field (80%) and Office (20%) responsibilities
• Ensure safety, quality, training, engagement and retention standards
• Coach, motivate and develop assigned team of protectors
• Develop relationships with customers to achieve goals and new business
• Perform job site and vehicle inspections and meet clients in the field
• Address customer service issues promptly while providing high level service
• Monitor payroll, timekeeping, benefits, time off requests, and training needs
• Facilitate teambuilding and regular communications
• Support training of new/current employees to reduce turnover
• Obtain ATSSA and state certifications
• Become expert in work zone setup/design and flagging
• Other duties as assigned
