Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead 30+ field crews and support regional managers. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, and hands-on leadership in field operations with 80% field time and 20% office time.

You will drive customer relations, develop teams, and ensure compliance with safety and training standards while identifying improvement opportunities and new business prospects.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree is a plus but not required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership for 30+ field-based protectors
• Support Area/General Manager in executing initiatives
• Collaborate with Area Staff for continuous improvement
• Maintain field (80%) and office (20%) responsibilities
• Ensure safety, quality, training, and engagement standards
• Coach and develop assigned team
• Develop relationships with customers for new business
• Perform site and vehicle inspections and client meetings
• Address customer service issues promptly
• Assist in preparing daily schedules
• Monitor payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and training needs
• Facilitate teambuilding and communications
• Support training to reduce turnover and costs
• Obtain ATSSA and state certifications
• Become subject matter expert in work zone setup/design
• Other duties as assigned
