Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Field Supervisor to lead a regional team in startup commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of 480VAC/15KVAC switchgear. You will ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering complex field projects across substations and automatic transfer systems.

The role requires extensive on-site leadership, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication to coordinate technicians, customers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have Electrical Power Distribution knowledge and safety procedures.
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience supervising field service teams and advising customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field service technicians and manage all field service work in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, and inspections on electrical systems.
• Lead large projects including commissioning and turnkey assignments.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scheduling, and billing; write detailed project reports.
• Interface with clients and drive business development activities.
