Job summary

Aqua Illinois, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor for the Northern Division to lead a team of 12+ technicians and oversee the water and sewer distribution system. The role includes budgeting, staffing, and coordinating with engineering to ensure project success.

The position requires strong safety leadership, budget discipline, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and external agencies. Travel within the Northern Division is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in operations, utilities and/or construction.
• Experience supervising a team in a field environment is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret budgets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervises 12+ non-union staff and plans maintenance activities.
• Maintains safety policies and coaching for staff performance.
• Manages budgets for area of responsibility and supports spend tracking.
• Coordinates with engineering for projects and ensures compliance with timelines.
• Maintains databases and provides operational reporting on hydrant flushing, valve exercising, and meter testing.
• Represents the company in meetings with local authorities and utilities.
• Oversees scheduling, training, and field service operations; performs related duties.
