Job summary

AquaSmart is seeking a Field Technician II to support field operations across equipment on location, from mechanical systems to PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and electrical systems. The role requires versatility, travel to multiple sites, and a strong safety mindset.

Two Field Technician II positions will be filled to ensure continuous coverage. A valid CDL Class A and frac experience are preferred; high school diploma required with potential associated certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Relevant technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
• Able to work under stressful conditions and long or irregular hours.
• Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
• CDL Class A license with >1 year of experience preferred.
• Frac experience in operation and maintenance is preferred (Blender and Chem Add).
• Knowledge of frac fleet operations and frac designs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field equipment on location including mechanical systems and fluid handling equipment.
• Operate and maintain PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist with rigging up and rigging down equipment and perform manual tasks as needed.
• Travel to various sites and work a two weeks on / one week off schedule.
• Coordinate with field operations management to improve efficiency and safety.
