Field Supervisor – Flooring Operations

North Texas Surfaces is looking for a dependable and organized Field Supervisor to oversee flooring installations and repairs throughout the DFW area.

This position is responsible for making sure jobs are ready, installations are completed correctly, crews have what they need, and any field issues are communicated and resolved quickly.

Responsibilities

• Visit active job sites and inspect flooring installations
• Coordinate with installers and installation crews
• Communicate with builders, superintendents, homeowners, and office staff
• Verify jobs are ready before installation
• Check installation quality and identify issues or repairs
• Take job-site photos and document field conditions
• Make sure crews follow work orders, layouts, and installation requirements
• Follow up on incomplete jobs and repairs
• Help troubleshoot installation and material issues
• Keep the office updated on job status and field problems
• Manage multiple jobs and priorities throughout the DFW area

What We're Looking For

• Flooring or construction experience preferred
• Field supervision experience is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple jobs

• Able to use a smartphone, email, photos, and basic computer systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, professional, and willing to take ownership of assigned jobs

Flooring Knowledge

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Hardwood and engineered wood
• Tile and shower installations
• Carpet
• LVP/LVT
• Flooring repairs and warranty work
• New residential construction

Schedule

Full-time position – Monday through Friday

Some early mornings or additional hours may be required depending on job-site needs.

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience.
