Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead onsite teams on diverse projects nationwide. You will coordinate daily site operations, ensure safety, and drive work quality from initiation through close-out, collaborating with PMs and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.

You will oversee field activities, enforce safety plans, manage reports, and train new hires, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as construction superintendent for Mullins self-performs or similar role.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and health guidelines for construction sites.
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and lead.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the onsite construction as a unified and collaborative team.
• Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
• Manage all field responsibilities on medium to complex projects and/or manage several smaller project teams.
• Collaborate with the PM to create and maintain the project schedule.
• Lead new hire jobsite introductions and training, and assign jobs.
• Conduct direct report employee reviews annually or more often if needed.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to plan and provide technical guidance during bidding of projects.
