Job summary

Stranco in the oil and gas sector seeks a Field Superintendent to lead field projects at various locations. You will coordinate personnel, materials, equipment, and schedules while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will read P&IDs and ISO drawings, develop cost-effective testing plans, and maintain field documentation. Frequent travel (80-100%) is required, with collaboration across operations, HSE&T, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' project leadership experience in industrial settings.
• Project Management certification or specialization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication with customers and vendors.
• Attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Strong organization and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office, PC/Mac, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates, and supervises field projects to complete on time and within budget.
• Ensures site compliance with safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Interfaces with Operations management, HSE&T, customers and vendors.
• Manages field personnel, materials, equipment, schedules, contracts and safety.
• Maintains project documentation and reports progress to management.
• Reads P&ID and ISO drawings and determines cost-effective testing methods.
• Obtains necessary permits for daily work activities at field locations.
• Coordinates with project manager to prepare test activities and punch lists.
• Oversees equipment, safety, and worker performance.
