Job summary

Sterling Industrial LLC is seeking a Piping Superintendent to oversee site piping craft personnel in Point Pleasant, WV, with significant travel to out-of-state projects. You’ll work with Construction Manager and engineers from conception to completion, directing labor issues, construction means/methods, and safety while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality.

The role requires 10–15 years of field experience in industrial and power construction, plus 5 years in field management.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of field experience in industrial and power construction and 5 years in field management positions
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology (preferred)
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise piping installation crews and subcontractors
• Develop daily work plans
• Coordinate manpower and equipment requirements
• Monitor productivity and schedule performance
• Coordinate inspections and testing
• Support turnover activities
• Maintain quality standards
• Lead safety practices and pre-task planning
• Ensure hazards and controls are communicated
• Verify permit compliance
• Conduct HIT Walks and apply findings
