Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Superintendent 1 to lead field operations on major projects. The role focuses on safety, timeliness, and ethical execution, supervising field labor and Assistant Superintendents to align with contract documents and budgets.

Ideal candidates will have substantial construction experience and a proven track record in supervising fit-out or larger building projects, with familiarity in change orders, schedules, and plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven construction experience.
• 2+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion.
• 2+ years leading smaller fit-out projects or an area of a larger building project.
• 2+ years experience with change orders and ticket management.
• 2+ years experience with subcontractor oversight.
• 2+ years experience with schedule updates and look-ahead schedules.
• 2+ years experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs.
• 2+ years experience supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or other mission-critical facility construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents to ensure safety, timeliness, profitability, and ethics per contract documents, budget, and schedule.
• Lead field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project.
• Support complex manufacturing and mission-critical facility projects, including cleanroom environments.
