Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Quality Coordinator Intern for Summer 2027 in Idaho. You will assist the quality team with inspections, pre-installation meetings, QA/QC field reviews, and interface with BIM/VDC for field model installation.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, reviewing plans and RFIs, and supporting the document controller with project data management. This is a part-time internship with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Windows and MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams) proficiency.
• Experience with Procore, Hexagon, Bluebeam or similar quality/commissioning software.
• Experience with design software AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Education in building science or construction document reading; CSI specs knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design, construction documents, technical manuals, and quantify materials required for construction from the documents.
• Write and publish meeting minutes.
• Review and process quality plans and trade certifications to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Review Inspection Plans, project specifications, and industry standards and apply this information to verify field installation.
• Assist document controller with organization, distribution, and accuracy of project control software.
