Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead the on-site team on a hyper-scale data center project near Childress, TX. You will manage layout, planning, and execution, report to the Project Superintendent, and coordinate with subcontractors to meet safety and quality goals.

This swing/night shift role requires ten years of construction experience, OHSA 30, a relevant degree, and proficiency with Prolog/Procore/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of combined construction experience.
• Large-scale industrial and/or high-tech experience required.
• OHSA 30 Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field work experience in engineering/construction.
• Experience with mechanical installations in large projects and cleanrooms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage safety protocols.
• Provide resolutions to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to client requests and develop solutions using technical expertise.
• Interpret and implement installations per local codes and site specs.
• Provide field conditions data for cost estimates.
• Facilitate contractor activity to meet contractual performance.
• Assist with staffing and work with clients and engineers.
