Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations in foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete lifting in Michigan. You will ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

You'll supervise multiple crews and subcontractors, enforce OSHA compliance, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in foundation repair or related groundwork.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Ability to read blueprints and project schedules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities.
• Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards on all sites.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure design compliance.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions.
• Oversee logistics of equipment, materials, and site access.
• Mentor field staff and junior superintendents.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Punctual attendance and reliability as essential.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
