Job summary

Schindler in Chicago is seeking a Field Superintendent- Repair to oversee the repair of elevators and other equipment. You will lead a team, manage scheduling and parts, and ensure safety and quality in all field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce is a plus.
• Equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or other technical field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair of assigned units in accordance with customer and company standards for quality, safety and cost management.
• Manage manpower planning, training, and performance appraisal to drive productivity and quality.
• Support local sales in estimating service orders and coordinating orders.
• Ensure conformance with safety, quality and reporting standards and develop system expertise.
