Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) is seeking a Field Superintendent for Existing Installation in Las Vegas, NV. This role supervises installation and service projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and contractual requirements while supporting sales on orders and resolutions of customer concerns.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or have 3+ years of elevator industry experience, with prior unionized workforce supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of technical experience in the elevator industry.
• Experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce is preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance meets Area and Company quality standards and contract requirements.
• Implement customer and Company requirements for quality, performance reliability and passenger safety for each project under supervision.
• Support sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, and resolving customer complaints.
• Manage program of project audits to assure conformance of performance standards of quality, safety and completeness.
• Develop manpower selection, training and performance appraisal programs to meet productivity and quality objectives.
• Implement route management to ensure preventive maintenance and control manpower.
