Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment in Saint George, Utah seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and multi-family projects. You’ll own schedule execution, coordinate with subs, enforce safety, and drive disciplined, quality-focused delivery from groundbreaking to handover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial, industrial, or multi-family construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Ability to command a jobsite through composure, decisiveness, and technical expertise.
• Proven knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication skills with field and executive teams.
• Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations across commercial and/or multi-family construction projects.
• Maintain ownership of schedule execution, subcontractor coordination, and site productivity.
• Enforce strict safety standards and cultivate a non-negotiable safety culture.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners for project alignment.
• Conduct site meetings with confidence, clarity, and accountability.
• Anticipate project risks and implement solutions before delays.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets standards.
• Oversee inspections, permits, and compliance requirements.
• Track manpower, sequencing, material deliveries, and field logistics.
• Maintain organized documentation including reports, logs, schedules, and progress updates.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel to reinforce discipline.
