Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a field/construction manager for a Nevada-based civil earthworks project.

The role focuses on oversight of onsite contractors for bulk earthworks, finish grading, and concrete installation, with strict QA/QC and documentation requirements. The position requires at least 5 years of similar project experience, strong coordination with design teams and procurement, and the ability to present updates to clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to present construction activities and plans to clients in written and presentation format.
• Must be able to pass the background check.

Responsibilities

• Management and oversight of onsite contractors completing civil earthworks from bulk earthworks to finish grading, and concrete installation.
• Enforce QA/QC processes, including ITPs, compaction testing, concrete testing, and proper documentation.
• Ensure contractor work complies with project plans, contract requirements, design intent, drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Monitor production rates, quantities installed, and contractor productivity; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support commissioning readiness by ensuring civil and concrete scopes meet standards and are handed over per turnover plans.
• Coordinate with engineering design, contract administration, procurement & logistics and project.
• Prepare RFIs, track field progress, QA/QC review and doc in place work, review shop drawings with contractors/vendors.
• Generate project meetings and prepare daily field and material reports, scheduling and cost control updates; provide weekly/monthly reports.
• Manage site team, interface with client representatives, present construction progress, resolve issues and develop interim client reports.

Position Overview: This position is for a specific project with a time frame of approximately 12 to 18 months. This position has the potential to become permanent upon the successful conclusion of the project, depending on the needs of the company at that time. This position will support civil/concrete construction management activities.

PROJECT LOCATED IN NEVADA

Key Responsibilities

• Management and oversight of onsite contractors completing civil earthworks ranging from bulk earthworks to finish grading, and concrete installation.
• Enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), compaction testing, concrete testing, and proper documentation.
• Ensure contractor work is in compliance with all project management plans, contract requirements, design intent, drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Monitor production rates, quantities installed, and contractor productivity; identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support commissioning readiness by ensuring civil and concrete scopes are completed to required standards and handed over in accordance with turnover plans.
