Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. in Nevada is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a ~2-year project focused on heap leach pad construction and civil earthworks. The role may become permanent depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include managing onsite contractors, coordinating with design, procurement, and controls, ensuring compliance with PM plans and safety, producing RFIs, progress reports, and client communications; frequent site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in heap leach pad construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
• Ability to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule.
• Ability to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Must be able to pass the background check.

• Coordination with engineering design efforts, contract administration, procurement & logistics, and project controls.
• Ensure compliance with all project management plans, design intent, safety procedures, manage onsite contractors work activities.
• Assembly of RFIs for engineering response, track contractor field progress, QA/QC review and documentation of in place work, reviewing/coordinating shop drawings with contractors, vendors & engineering.
• Generation of project meeting minutes.
• Generation of daily preparation of field progress & material reports, scheduling and cost control updates, and weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Ability to manage site team, interface with client representatives, present construction progress, resolve issues and develop interim reports to clients in a public forum, if needed.
• Work with site safety manager to support and enforce safety procedures.
• Position typically requires site presence for the duration of the project.

Position Overview: This position is for a specific project with a time frame of approximately 2 years. This position will support civil bulk earthworks and leach pad construction management activities. This position has the potential to become permanent upon the successful conclusion of the project, depending on the needs of the company at that time.

PROJECT LOCATED IN NEVADA

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Licensing

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in heap leach pad construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Working knowledge and experience and MS office, MS Project, and Primavera 6.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self- starter, detailed-oriented, and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• Must be able to pass the background check.

Preferred Skills

• Previous Experience in the Mining Industry
• Bilingual English / Spanish abilities
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to travel domestically for this project.
