Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience with at least 3+ years in a superintendent or leadership role working in substations
• Valid Journeyman certification or equivalent experience in electrical construction
• OSHA certification preferred (e.g., NCCCO or CIC Certification for crane operations)
• Demonstrated knowledge of substation construction and crew management

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance
• Supervise crews and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders
• Monitor progress, productivity, and quality control; ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support by interpreting drawings and advising on construction methods
• Lead daily reports and weekly/monthly project status updates
• Mentor substation technicians and ensure proper work procedures
