Qualifications

• 6+ years in HV substation design, interconnection planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Advanced HV equipment specification, protection settings, and transmission interconnection.
• Experience with NEC, IEEE 1547, NERC, and FERC regulations for interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation design and interconnection strategy for PV and BESS assets.
• Oversee interconnection studies including load flow, contingency analysis, and harmonics.
• Mentor junior engineers and engage with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and permitting agencies.
• Support commissioning, QA/QC, and SCADA integration.
