Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. seeks an Outside Sales Representative in California to build relationships with new and existing customers in the steel and fabrication market. Focus on beams, tubing, plate processing, sheets, decking and value-added services while driving market growth.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer data, in-person client meetings daily, and collaborating with Inside Sales to quote and fulfill orders, with compensation $65K–$85K plus commission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient level of computer skills in typing, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Problem solving and creative thinking.
• Ability to visit customers in person daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and expanding customer database.
• Attending sales group meetings.
• Capturing accurate and complete information in customer relationship management.
• Assisting our Inside Sales Team in quoting and handling order execution from acceptance to completion.
• Communicating with customers regarding current relative market information and capturing relative feedback.
• Obtain and provide feedback on Competitor pricing/equipment to Management.
• Establish creditable relationships with new customers and maintain ongoing relationships with existing customer base.
• Attend face to face meetings with clients on a daily basis.
• Manage a database of potential customers and contact them on a regular basis for new opportunities.
• Team with Inside Sales Rep to build a pipeline of opportunities and close sales.
• Make Outbound Sales calls to prospect new customers.
• Note suggestions or complaints and communicate to the Quality/Operations group.
• Utilize CRM Software to keep track of important customer ‘touches.
• Support the Quality System of the Company.
