Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative in the United States to drive demand creation, promote Amgen products, and serve as the primary customer contact. You will deliver clinical knowledge and economic benefits to support sales targets across assigned territories.

The role requires strong clinical expertise, strategic planning with the District Manager, and adept account management including access and reimbursement issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or higher; 4 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related; higher education may substitute for experience.
• Associate degree with 4 years of relevant sales/clinical experience as an alternative.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant sales/clinical experience as an alternative.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products.
• Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical and economic benefits.
• Achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action marketing strategies and delivering branded sales messages and programs.
• Servicing and managing accounts: ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining contracts.
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager and provide feedback on marketing strategy and effectiveness.
