Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in engineered wood products. You will collect customer needs, present tailored proposals, and coordinate between customers and internal design staff.

The role requires strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You will travel to client sites, develop opportunities, and support junior reps while adhering to safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Two years of prior sales experience required.
• Ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company in the sales process and coordinates with design staff to meet client requirements.
• Troubleshoots field issues and resolves complex customer problems.
• Plans and delivers sales presentations and demonstrates products and services.
• Researches potential customers and creates sales opportunities.
• Keeps customers informed about product updates and capabilities.
• Provides training to junior outside sales reps when needed.
• Prepares reports and documentation for management.
• Maintains safety procedures and works at client sites.
