Horizon Forest Products is seeking a highly motivated outside sales professional to join our team. You will establish and grow relationships with customers in an assigned territory, develop sales strategies, and negotiate terms and contracts to drive revenue.

You will collaborate with purchasing and management to ensure orders are processed accurately and products are distributed efficiently. Strong communication and a proactive, results-driven attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in an assigned territory.
• Develops and implements effective sales strategy to drive sales.
• Negotiates prices, terms of sales and/or service agreements, prepares contracts and submits orders.
• Collaborates with purchasing departments, manager and staff to confirm orders are processed accurately and distributed properly.
• Identifies and locates new customers through networking and cold calls.
• Applies knowledge of products to match products to customer needs.
• Monitors competition by gathering information on competing products.
• Provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competition, and potential for new products.
