Job summary

Appvion is seeking a Technical Field Specialist to deliver hands-on technical expertise, support product implementation, and foster customer growth. You will engage with customers, perform field testing, and coordinate trials while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires frequent field visits, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving approach to ensure successful onboarding and long-term customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with technical/customer-facing experience.
• 3+ years in technical support, field service, or sales support in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting customer trials, product samples, testing or onboarding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and field technical support to customers.
• Attend sales calls and customer meetings to support solutions.
• Coordinate product testing, trials, and sample evaluations.
• Drive continuous improvement through field feedback and documentation.
• Partner with sales to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Maintain records of customer visits, trials, and actions.
