Duke Energy is seeking a Solar Tech II to provide support across multiple PV plant sites in Florida, handling troubleshooting, maintenance, and start-up activities to ensure reliable O&M outcomes.

The role includes coordinating testing schedules, assigning tasks to technicians and engineers, and ensuring safety and compliance across operations. A readiness to travel and adapt to rotating shifts is required.

Competenze

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems experience.
• Successful completion of the MASS test.
• 2 years technical or military training in electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems.
• Working knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Experience with inverters, electrical design, Maximo CMMS, SCADA/EMS and network devices.
• 5+ years of electrical maintenance or Solar PV Systems experience.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, resolve equipment issues.
• Design change requirements and equipment modifications.
• Scheduling maintenance, installation, and start-up support. Also responsible for supporting existing equipment performance and reliability.
• Support equipment testing schedules and assign contract testers, technicians, and engineers to appropriate tasks while developing processes to improve O&M output quality.
• Ensures compliance with all operational, environmental and other regulatory and policy compliance requirements.
• Provides leadership and accountability to achieve desired safety results.
