Job summary

Fruition Group US is seeking a software engineer to deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot technology in real-world environments for a leading U.S. defense technology company.

You will write production code and work directly with customers to ensure systems operate reliably beyond the lab. This role emphasizes hands-on software engineering with field deployment, requires travel about 50% across the U.S., and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong professional software engineering background with production experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Go or Java and related tooling.
• Excellent Linux, networking, and debugging skills; able to deploy software in the field.
• Ability to work independently, own technical problems, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate software at customer and test sites.
• Write production-quality software and integrations.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure.
• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Build tooling, automation, monitoring, and deployment solutions.
• Take ownership of technical problems from investigation through resolution.
• Feed field experience and customer requirements back into the engineering team.
