Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations for client projects across the United States. This role emphasizes safety, quality, scheduling, contracts, and drawing conformity while representing the company at the project site.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining documentation, updating drawings, and producing monthly progress reports for review with the Project Construction Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the intent of the drawings.
• Ensures all work adheres to the established project schedule; escalates potential or actual project delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site construction lead or Project Construction Manager; records documentation.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels/identifies each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with client approval working with Project Manager.
• Maintains on-site records per The Perry Group document control requirements.
