Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client sites across the United States. You will oversee subcontractors, enforce safety and quality controls, and manage schedules while representing the company on site.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, preparing reports, coordinating with project teams, and handling contract extras and payments. Extensive field experience and OSHA 30 are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive field construction experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field operations on large projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality control, scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the drawings' intent.
• Ensures all work adheres to the established project schedule and escalates delays.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels each photo.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• Provides assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Maintains professional correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintains on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and quality system instructions.
