Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. You will represent the firm on site, manage safety, quality control, and scheduling, and coordinate with the Project Construction Manager.

Responsibilities include documenting daily activities, managing subcontractors, preparing reports, and ensuring design drawings are current. This role requires extensive field oversight and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; at least three (3) years in Construction Management/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the intent of the drawings.
• Ensures all work adheres to the established project schedule; escalates potential or actual project delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; reviews with site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels and identifies each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients; handle issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintains on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.
