Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to direct on-site field operations across the United States. You will supervise subcontractors, manage safety, quality control, scheduling, and client relations while representing the company at project sites.

Daily reports, progress photos, and monthly progress updates form the core of on-site documentation. You will work with Project Managers to address contract changes and ensure latest drawings are used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 9 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; at least 3 years in CM/Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensures work adheres to the established project schedule; escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients for clear issue handling.
• Maintains on-site records and files per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Understands and follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and Quality Systems.
