Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager 1 to lead on-site field operations for client projects across the United States. You will oversee subcontractors, enforce safety, manage drawings and quality, and maintain client relations in a fast-paced field environment.

This 100% field-based role requires coordinating with Project Construction Manager, producing daily/ monthly reports, and ensuring adherence to schedules and design revisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and drawings intent.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or PM.
• Take progress photographs and organize project photographs.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• Provide assistance to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with PM.
• Maintain clear, concise correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree+9 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree+6 years of relevant experience
