Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the Service Department with customer service tasks, scheduling, and work order administration. You will help with pre-delivery, repair, and reconditioning of equipment, and coordinate shop and field service activities.

Responsibilities include processing warranty claims, assisting in quotes, and ensuring timely job closures to meet company goals. Supervisory duties occur when the Service Manager is away.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with some heavy equipment knowledge or two years mechanical experience.
• Prefer a 2-year degree and familiarity with industrial equipment (construction/forestry).
• Strong organization and communication skills; broad computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in customer service needs and schedule work orders.
• Open and close work orders to meet deadlines and company goals.
• Assist in coordinating shop, field service, and delivery logistics.
• Assist in processing warranty claims and job quotes.
• Supervise shop activities when Service Manager is away.
