Job summary

Torus, based in Utah at the GigaOne campus in Salt Lake City, seeks a Field Services Superintendent to elevate craft quality and build the external installer ecosystem for scalable product deployment. You will own training, craft standards, documentation, and third‑party certification, and may lead a dedicated team as the program grows.

You are an experienced Journeyman or Master Electrician with 8+ years in field work, including 3+ in leadership.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license (Utah or reciprocal state).
Master Electrician license a plus.
Minimum 8 years of field electrical experience with 3+ years in lead/supervisory roles.
Experience with energy storage systems, commercial/industrial installations, or utility-scale power.
Proven ability to develop written installation guides and procedures.
Experience training or mentoring apprentices in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and own internal training program for Torus field personnel.
Establish craft standards, installation procedures, and safety protocols.
Identify skill gaps and design targeted remediation.
Manage apprentice progression tracking and coordination with apprenticeship bodies.
Partner with the Director of Field Operations to evaluate team leads.
Provide hands-on field support and troubleshoot escalations as needed.
Author and maintain installation manuals and step‑by‑step procedures.
Design and lead the Torus Certified Installer program, including curricula and assessments.
