Torus Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring Journeyman Electricians to lead field installations of BESS, solar PV, and electrical switchgear at commercial and industrial sites. You will mentor apprentices, manage crews, and ensure safety and compliance with NEC and project drawings.

Based at our GigaOne facility, this role involves 50%–75% travel to regional sites, with per diem, lodging, and vehicle support. DOE salary ranges plus comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Utah DOPL Journeyman Electrician license (or Master Electrician license) in good standing.
• Demonstrated background performing commercial and/or industrial electrical installations (no residential-only backgrounds).
• Proven experience leading job site crews and mentoring apprentice electricians.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC and ability to read riser diagrams, single-lines, and electrical prints.

Responsabilités

• Lead Field Execution: Direct and oversee installation of commercial/industrial PV systems, BESS, switchgear, transformers, and control panels.
• Crew Management & Mentorship: Supervise on-site work, assign tasks, enforce safety, train apprentices.
• Conduit & Wiring Execution: Plan, lay out, bend, thread, and run conduit and pull wires per drawings and NEC code.
• Blueprint & Technical Reading: Read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and specs.
• System Testing & Commissioning: Perform terminations, troubleshoot, test, maintain, and support commissioning.
