Job summary

Torus, Inc. is seeking 3rd and 4th year Electrical Apprentices to join our Installation team at the GigaOne site in Salt Lake City, UT. You will work with Journeymen on commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage systems, PV, and distribution equipment, with hands-on training and clear growth paths.

Active Utah DOPL Apprentice Electrician license is required or willingness to register. Expect 50–75% travel, site safety focus, and thorough on-site mentorship to advance your career in

Qualifications

• Active Utah DOPL Apprentice Electrician license or willingness to register on hire.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Commitment to safety on job sites and NEC compliance.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of solar PV, BESS, switchgear and control panels.
• Measure, bend, thread, and run conduit per drawings and NEC code.
• Pull wire, terminate connections, and assist with equipment mounting.
• Learn to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specs.
• Assist with basic testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning under supervision.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and tool inventory on sites.
• Document daily tasks and learning logs as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
