Clean Harbors in LaPorte, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety-conscious team, performing tasks related to hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and equipment decontamination. A two-week paid Academy training is required and may be out of state with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks listed in responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response may be required, including weekends/holidays.
• Previous labor experience preferred.
• Background check, drug test, and physical examination required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the primary goal by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and a range of hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE correctly in varying conditions.
• Work in different temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste following regulations.
• Attend safety and compliance meetings and complete paperwork.
• Be on-call for emergency response rotations and site remediation duties.
