Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
• Knowledge of operating principles of various types of cooling/refrigeration equipment and systems
• Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
• Ability to maintain required records and prepare reports
• Willingness to travel to field sites

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, control and mechanical blueprints, drawings, and other specifications
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components using hand and power tools
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/refrigeration equipment and systems
• Travel to field sites to perform commissioning and service tasks
