Johnson Controls seeks a Controls Systems Technician to join a field-based team. You will perform system commissioning, load controller software, diagnose basic HVAC and controls issues, and ensure safe handoffs from install to operation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in HVAC or building automation or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems and safety practices.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Load system-level controller software and support startup activities.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Calibrate systems and verify operation at end devices and sensors.
• Document commissioning work, communicate progress, and update as‑built records.
