Aspire Communications, a startup in Orlando, is seeking a committed fiber optic field technician to join our growing team. The role involves installing and testing fiber networks at residential and commercial sites, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will work in a fast‑paced environment across indoor/outdoor jobs, travel to client sites within the territory, and contribute to high‑quality telecom services while advancing within a dynamic company.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physically demanding work.
• Safety conscious with a focus on proper procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to install and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling (SC/ST/LC).
• Ability to understand wiring diagrams and testing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install cable to connect customers to fiber‑optic Internet service.
• Perform fiber optic installations for residential customers.
• Work indoors and outdoors during installation and testing.
• Set up and operate test equipment to verify performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications and data/IT equipment issues within a territory.
• Coordinate with crew leader and other technicians to complete tasks on schedule.
