Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to oversee field service activities, including acceptance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution equipment. You will mentor technicians, coordinate with field engineers, and ensure safety and efficiency in all test activities.

The role requires strong experience in substation equipment, test procedures, and customer communication, with emphasis on timely project delivery and technical leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field experience with installation, testing, startup and maintenance of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Experience in substation design/commissioning and protection & control is desirable.
• Proficiency with reading electrical drawings and standard test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service oversight and consultation for acceptance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HV, MV, and LV systems.
• Manage and complete assigned jobs with technicians and field engineers and mentor field team members.
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols and work instructions.
• Review field time reports and job documentation for accuracy; coordinate equipment and manpower needs for field and shop.
• Support sales team with technical insight and project support as required.
