Job summary

Long & Foster Inc. is seeking a Field Services Representative in Maryland to manage property accounts and act as a liaison between the Property Manager and owners.

The role requires performing interim, move-in, and move-out surveys and documenting findings in AppFolio. You will coordinate repairs, ensure reports are completed before leases start, and communicate results to owners and managers while maintaining schedules and ensuring lease compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of property management experience.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of property maintenance and improvements.
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Daily travel in a personal vehicle within the region is required.
• A real estate license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs interim, move-in, move-out surveys, and repair verifications.
• Handles office duties including correspondence, answering phones, delivering keys, installing/removing lockboxes.
• Ensures onsite work orders are entered into AppFolio for action by Customer Experience in emergencies or issues.
• Assures move-in-condition report is completed prior to new lease start date and tenant possession.
• Communicates survey results to owners via AppFolio and the portal; documents tenant damage and coordinates next steps with the Property Manager.
• Becomes familiar with HomeServices Property Management Workflows and Processes.
• Keeps Vice President, Regional Director, or Regional Manager and Property Manager informed of property facts.
