Job summary

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Field Services Specialist to join our on-site team serving the Seattle metro area. You will commission, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced lighting and shading systems, delivering exceptional service from setup through ongoing performance enhancements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of electro-mechanical or related field experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook/Teams and Microsoft-based productivity software; computer networking experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Proven customer service skills interfacing with a range of customers on job sites.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service and technical expertise to clients, ensuring a seamless experience across the system lifecycle.
• Master commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Lutron Commercial Systems following field service protocols.
• Coordinate and manage site visits with contractors and facility managers for accurate installation and integration.
• Operate independently across diverse commercial job sites in fast-paced environments.
• Support the full lifecycle of Lutron products, including diagnostics, repairs, and user training to maximize performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for legacy systems and provide guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
