Job summary

ABB is seeking an Operations Leader for Field Services to support the Senior Field Service Manager in leading day-to-day operations across the Central Area (MN, WI, IN, IL). You will guide field technicians, optimize scheduling, and drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on customer sites.

You will coach, develop, and assess performance, participate in hiring, and ensure readiness of a high-performing field service team with a focus on operational discipline and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in field service or technical operations.
• Experience in team leadership and supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of field service operations, safety, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Central Area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and performance of field service technicians.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Provide on-ground coaching and technical support to field personnel.
• Monitor technician performance, productivity, and KPIs.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of field staff.
