Job summary

Builders FirstSource seeks a Field Service Supervisor to lead and manage all field service activities at customer sites. You will direct scheduling for replacement and repair, maintain strong customer relationships, and guide field staff through complex issues while ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service.

The role requires onboarding and supervising staff, producing monthly productivity reports, and ensuring adherence to company policies and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; six years installation or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of one year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge gained through Truss Technician Training Levels I and II certifications.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages field service activities and staff.
• Manages scheduling for replacement and repair at customer sites.
• Builds strong relationships between customers and field staff.
• Resolves complex issues in collaboration with field services personnel.
• Develops monthly productivity and costing reports for management.
• Ensures policy and procedure adherence and budget/financial goals.
• Performs staff selection, training, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
